Roxanne Brousseau-Félio, M.Ed., B.Ed., B.A.

Roxanne Brousseau-Félio has dealt with all aspects of media during her 20 year career in the United States and Canada. She has a Bachelor's degree in Media Communications and a Masters in Educational Technology. In Texas, she was Producer for a TV weekly community and public affairs program and a Reporter/Videographer for PBS and private corporations.

She continued in the film and television industry in Los Angeles on productions such as the TV Pilot for the Emmy Award winning series The Wonder Years. She worked at The Paul Getty Foundation-Education Division; Walt Disney Studios; Condé-Nast Publishing (Self, Vogue, House and Garden magazines) and The William Morris Talent Agency-Literary Division. She is a writer and was awarded 1st place by the Ottawa Independent Writers for short story writing and is co-author of a youth historical novel (The Young Civil Engineer) that was distributed across Canadian schools and libraries.

Over the last year Roxanne served as Director on the Board of the National Press Club of Canada Foundation. As Chairperson for the Diplomatic & Multicultural Committee she launched a series of Diplomatic Press Attaché Luncheons, attracting high profile speakers celebrating culture and fostering media awareness.

Drawing on her inspiration from former mentors and teachers such as renown Artist Kenneth Lochead, Photographer Alain Desvergnes and Film Editor Jean Oser, Roxanne devotes her time producing creative endeavours such as the founding of SpreadArt.net, an international network of artists collaborating on unique projects and exchanges.

Today, she works as a freelance Producer/Videographer/Editor, most recently producing a training video series for First Nations in Vancouver, B.C. with Infrastructure Strategies and Research Inc.

As an artist, Roxanne's artworks have been exhibited in group shows in Los Angeles, New York, Estonia and Australia along with publications in the magazine Renew Canada. Most recently she was selected amongst more than 100 artists to be one of the first exhibitors for her debut solo show at the new Shenkman Arts Centre in Ottawa.
